My Story

I didn’t set out to start a ministry.
I just knew what it felt like to be tired in my soul.

To be praised for being strong—but never asked what it was costing me.
To hold space for everyone else, while quietly wondering if God saw me too.
To love the Black church deeply… and still ache for something softer, slower, more sacred.

What I longed for didn’t have a name.
So I created a space where women like me could breathe again.

I call it Sister Soul Care—a sacred rhythm of rest, reflection, and remembering who we are as beloved daughters of God.

Here, you don’t have to explain why you’re tired.
You don’t have to fight to be seen.
You don’t have to prove your worth to belong.

You get to bring your whole self—your questions, your calling, your quiet longing—and trust that God will meet you there.

Because He always has.

A Little More About Me

I’m an ordained minister, spiritual director, writer, and soul care companion.
I guide women through contemplative practices rooted in faith and freedom—not perfection.

I hold a Doctor of Ministry from Boston University and trained in spiritual direction through Sustainable Faith. You can read more about me and the work I do if you’re curious here.

Most importantly—I’m a woman who’s done pretending.
And if you’re here, maybe you are too.
